I've made some advances on the project over the past few days. I cut up part of Pringles can and laid it on the head to serves as the big headlamp. At Wal-Mart earlier this week I picked up an accessory kit for my dremel tool, and I got the eye holes and mouth cut out. I'd added a layer of paper towels on the helmet to see how it worked compared to the newsprint. I do like the effect and I may try it again. It seems a bit more solid than the newsprint and easier to spot gaps when I'm layering ( Read more... )

Last night I watched the shortest episode of Tom Baker's run. Only two episodes long and clocking in at 50 minutes, it was no longer than a current series episode. One of the things I noticed about the first season of Tom Baker's run as the Doctor was that most of the stories were interconnected, and and were occurring in rapid succession.
